E-book vs. Paper Book
Notes:
Prices: Paperback purchased at Barnes & Noble, Braintree, MA, 10/28/98.
The Rocket eBook has 4 megabytes of flash memory, of which about 665K is consumed by system software, fonts, etc. Paperback books typically reduce to around 800 bytes to 1K per page. There is an option slot inside the Rocket eBook for adding additional flash memory. The technical upper limit for this card today is about 164 megabytes, though we may never choose to make one this big.
