The Smartspy Analyzer displays a message "Device error - USB not connected"
1If your Smartspy Analyzer shows this message, make sure that you are using the latest version (v2.1), available for download from the Our Support section in the Customer Area. If you are having the same Device Error problem with version 2.1, please contact our Customer Support team.
The Smartspy device displays a message "Transaction too large"
1In this case, you need to upgrade the firmware of your Smartspy device to version 2.02 minimum. The upgrade procedure is explained at the end of the user's manual. The latest version of the firmware is available to download from the Support section in the Customer Area.
Attention: Only the devices shipped after March 2004 allow a firmware upgrade. For older devices, please contact our Customer Support team.
When and how do I change the batteries of a Smartspy device?
1If you switch on your Smartspy device and the display remains blank, you probably need to change the batteries. Remove the 4 screws at the back of the device, open the case and replace the 2 AA-LR6 batteries.
