How do I get new card updates for my field interoperability subset?
1The field interoperability subset is under warranty for 12 months from the date of delivery. At the end of the 12-month warranty, and from February 2005, you can apply for a maintenance contract.
If you have a field interoperability subset v15 minimum that is either under warranty or with a valid maintenance contract, you will receive on demand all new cards introduced by MasterCard.
If you have a field interoperability subset v11.A, you will need to upgrade to a subset v15.A before applying for a maintenance contract.
If you have a field interoperability subset v5.A, your upgrade to v11.A is included with the maintenance contract of your subset 1. You will still need to upgrade to v15.A before applying for a new maintenance contract.
How do I get new card updates for my subset 1?
1The subset 1 is under warranty for 12 months from the delivery date. At the end of the 12-month warranty, you can apply for a maintenance contract.
If your product is under warranty or if you have a valid maintenance contract, you will receive on demand all new cards introduced by MasterCard (eg. 13 new cards for upgrade 5.0.A). Older cards, or cards that have not been updated, are still valid.
I have different versions of cards in my subset 1
1Depending on the date of purchase, you can have in your subset 1 VJAN2006A some cards in v4.0.B or 4.0.C or 5.0.A. or V6.0.4.A

1The following versions are the latest mandatory versions for MasterCard ETEC subsets to perform TIP:
