Products and Services

The VideoBOX product line is a family of ATM video codecs which provide solutions for those customers who have made a commitment to ATM technology and have Real Time applications such as long distant learning, video-remote control or tele-medicine teaching. These VideoBoxs provide both point to point and multicast capabilities in order to best fulfill our customer's needs. on the requirements of the customer.

• VideoBOXs' products convert analog information from a chosen source (APL or NTSC) into ATM cells.
• The information is then sent across the ATM network to its destination and converted back to analog form, this is then shown on a device, a TV or a monitor.

APPLI-BUS

APPLI-BUS is a middleware software package that is based on Object Oriented Technology and is targeted for factory floor use. APPLI-BUS, which is Corba 2 compliant, is the sofware component which connects applications with factory floor devices such as Numeric Controllers and Programmable Logic Controllers.

• APPLI-BUS enables applications or factory floor devices to be added or deleted without having any impact on the overall software environment.
• APPLI-BUS is based on standard communication components such as TCP/IP and Orbix.
• Thanks to APPLI-BUS' ability to evolve and its innate scalability, it easily supports new devices/applications, therefore guaranteeing saved time and money.

MK-Group, an independant business unit of Computer Associates, is demonstrating the Appli-Bus integration in their Virtual Enterprise Concept. Their product MK-E can now exchange data with the Autodesk™ AutoCad™ application.
