Qualification, certification and testing

Groupe Silicomp has developed a recognised expertise in consulting (assistance, methodology, quality...) and is a strategic partner of MasterCard in developing its Testing tools.  On 1 August 2005, Groupe Silicomp took over the operations of its supplier FIME, both in France and Taiwan.  The combination of the expertise of the testing centre with that of Silicomp represents the most comprehensive offer on the market in the fields of automated payment systems and RFID. Groupe Silicomp used FIME's excellent personnel and its consulting expertise to take its leadership position, in particular in the development of contactless technology.

The group offers a comprehensive range of services organised around three operating activities:

•  "FIME" Independent Laboratory: testing our customers' products to guarantee their compliance with market specifications and their reliability
•  Testing tools distribution: providing and developing testing tools that are adapted to the smart card market needs
•  Consulting: assisting customers by developing new offers (training, consulting, project management ...) as a complement to FIME operations, while continuing current operations.
